IDMG is owned and operated to this day by its principle founder, Internet innovator and consulting expert, Patrick Wagner. As a true veteran of the online world, Wagner has served a wide variety of large companies including Fortune 500 clients, ad agencies and top global brands, applying his experience and knowledge while also tapping into the resources of strategic thinkers, creative designers, and innovative developers.

In 2000, Patrick Wagner was running a start-up software development company with a good client base and strong support from investors. The company did not survive the burst of the Internet Bubble but by 2001, IDMG was emerging.
During the Internet boom, there was a lack of qualified workers; with the bust, however, many highly skilled and creative individuals were unable to find employment. The investor market at the same time started re-thinking their support of products that did not produce money or add specific value to consumers, creating a new focus on profits and ROI buzz.
Patrick took out his rolodex and called all the best talent he knew, intent on sharing his vision of working with great clients and continuing to operate on the cutting edge of the online business world. By 2001, many new companies had been created, often without much planning or appreciation of best practices for securing high profit margins. IDMG’s ability to tap into this knowledge has been one of the company’s greatest strength.
